RISE Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use RISE. If you are under 18, you may only use the app with the permission of a parent or guardian.

By using the app, you confirm that:

• You meet the age requirement
• All information you provide is accurate
• You have not been previously banned from using RISE

2. Your Responsibilities

You agree to use RISE:

• For lawful, personal use only
• Without misusing, harassing, or abusing others
• Without attempting to reverse-engineer, clone, or hack any part of the app

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. Wellbeing Disclaimer

RISE offers AI-powered tools for personal growth, reflection, and emotional insight. However:

• We do not provide medical, psychological, or therapeutic services.
• Content generated by Amber or other features is not professional advice
• If you are experiencing a crisis, please seek help from a qualified professional or contact emergency services

4. User Content

You may input or generate content through chats, journals, goals, reflections, or social features ("User Content").

By using the app:

• You retain ownership of your content
• You grant RISE a non-exclusive, worldwide license to store, display, and use your content to operate and improve the service
• You may delete your content at any time through the app or by contacting support

We reserve the right to moderate or remove content that violates these Terms or our Community Guidelines.

5. Community Guidelines

If RISE includes social or shared features, you agree to:

• Be respectful and constructive
• Not post harmful, violent, or explicit material
• Not impersonate others or misrepresent your identity
• Report misuse when you see it

Violation of these rules may result in suspension or removal from the app.

6. License and Restrictions

We grant you a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the RISE app for personal, non-commercial purposes.

You may not:

• Copy, sell, or distribute RISE or its content
• Use automated tools to scrape or access the app
• Use RISE for competitive or commercial analysis

7. Intellectual Property

All content and technology within RISE—including the Amber character, app design, logos, and generated scripts—are owned by us or our licensors.

You may not use our branding, character designs, or proprietary content without written permission.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to RISE at any time if:

• You violate these Terms
• You misuse the app or harm the community
• We are required to do so by law

You may delete your account at any time.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law:

• RISE is provided "as-is" and "as-available"
• We do not guarantee accuracy, availability, or uninterrupted access
• We are not liable for any loss, injury, emotional distress, or damage arising from your use of the app

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RISE, its owners, and team members from any claims, losses, or damages resulting from your use of the app or violation of these Terms.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you via email or in-app. Your continued use of RISE means you accept the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New York State. Any disputes will be handled in New York unless otherwise required by law.
